[side note] This guy followed us around for AT LEAST 20 minutes taking pictures of us.
As I type this the kids are singing "One night in Beijing" over and over again to practice for their performance. The entire song is in Chinese, except for that one line, so naturally it gets stuck in your head. The first day in Beijing we discovered churros covered in chocolate, dipped in ice cream. Where have they been my whole carnival going life?
We explored a park that overlooked the entire Forbidden City, which was more impressive than the actual place in my opinion, but that could also be my sore feet talking.
That night we found this beautiful lake full of romantic dinner spots and live music bars where we got constant invites to sit. Tell me those lights aren't beautiful.
